• Material: Corrosion-resistant aluminum with a smooth, bright mill finish. Premium models may use heavy-duty. 3.50-MM thick aluminum for added strength and reduced weight.
• Weather resistance: Features a continuous automotive-grade bulb seal or gasket around the door to create a watertight and dustproof enclosure. Some designs also include a built-in rain gutter to divert moisture.
• Security: Comes standard with a lockable latch, often a heavy-duty stainless steel compression latch with a T-handle. Some models feature a high-security, 3-point locking system or a keyed lock for theft prevention.
• Door design: Most commonly features a single drop-down or barn-style double swing door for full access to the compartment. The door is supported by heavy-duty cables or a continuous hidden hinge.
